Darryl Hoxie - Louisiana Disaster Recovery Manager

Based in Westwego, Louisiana, Darryl Hoxie is an accomplished disaster-relief project manager with experience in construction, restoration, and environmental cleanup. He has worked with Legacy Industries since 2017 in recovery and repair. In addition, Darryl Hoxie has overseen Restore Louisiana projects involving more than 700 homes and managed Transform 386 projects in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Mr. Hoxie owned Oracle Construction from 1997 to 2017. His work included custom homes in Jackson, Wyoming, municipal sewer plants and water depots in North Dakota, hotels and RV parks, and a school project in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On the Baton Rouge project, he managed a crew of 84, completing the work under budget and ahead of schedule.

His professional work includes site inspections, cost management, and crew training. Mr. Hoxie is a licensed general contractor and a Servpro water restoration technician. He also has environmental safety experience connected to restoration work after Hurricane Ida.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Darryl Hoxie has been involved in equestrian and animal rescue activities. He earned a third-place finish with a six-horse hitch at the 2007 Clydesdale World Show.
